About Me

My name is Nicolas Patenaude and I am a software developer from Montréal. I started Ayoye Games as a passion project in December 2025 and have been building my first VR game, Street Cook VR, entirely by myself. I am incredibly proud of how far I've come and thrilled that Meta has approved my project for their platform. I believe deeply in both myself and the vision of my game, and I am driven by my passion and ambition to grow as a developer. This project allows me to challenge myself, showcase my abilities, and gain valuable experience, all while pursuing what I truly love. Every step of the journey strengthens my confidence and motivates me to continue pushing the boundaries of what I can achieve.

• Reinforced my knowledge of Unity and C#
• Modeling and texturing every element of the game into a cohesive low-poly cartoon aesthetic
• Organized and tracked development using Kanban with post-its on a whiteboard
• Designed gameplay systems, environment, and progression mechanics
• Mastered XR Interaction Toolkit: interactors, interactables, and interaction managers
• Managing early access release channels, playtesting, and Meta Quest Horizon Store publishing
